Miss Dee Teaches Photography
These photography classes are designed for people who want to understand photography rather than chase trends.
The focus is on confidence, observation, and learning how images work technically and emotionally in a calm, supportive environment.
Learning to see, not just to shoot
About the Teaching
My name is Diana, and photography has been part of my life for many years not just as a profession, but as a way of understanding the world.
I specialise in black-and-white and fine art photography, but more than style, I care about how we see.
How light, space, and stillness affect the way an image makes us feel.
Alongside my work as a photographer, I’ve spent years teaching and supporting students in educational settings. Teaching has always been an important part of my work, and photography has become one of the most powerful tools I use to help people slow down, gain confidence, and think differently.
These sessions aren’t about copying other people’s work or following trends.
They’re about understanding photography well enough that the camera stops feeling intimidating and starts feeling intuitive.
My approach to teaching is calm, reflective, and practical.
There’s no pressure to be perfect, and no expectation to fit into a specific genre or style.
What You’ll Learn
• Understanding your camera and how it works
• Shooting in manual and semi-manual modes with confidence
• The exposure triangle (ISO, aperture, shutter speed) explained clearly
• Reading light, contrast, and space
• Developing visual awareness and intention
• Understanding why images work, not just how to take them
These foundations apply to all styles of photography.
